Count Down to Relay for Life

One of Kylie's end of the year assignments in Social Studies was a "Make a Difference" project. She chose to form a Relay for Life team and raise awareness of colon cancer. The Relay is an 18 hour event where you have to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Here's the link to her team page:

To start her fundraising efforts, she set up a snack stand at Ordway field. She was there for four hours today and plans to be there next Saturday as well. I'm so proud of her determination and enthusiasm! When she puts her mind to something, she doesn't quit.

  1. I think it's cool that she has her whole family out there supporting her. It's sad, but I don't think that a lot of big brothers would hang out at Ordway to help their little sis like that. Your family rocks! Can we hang out with you guys so maybe some of it will rub off on us?? :-)

  2. Great Job Kylie! You can count Jeff, Hyrum, Jonah and I to participate in your relay. We are excited for the event and Jeff even said he's sign up for a late night/early morning time since he's so used to being up that late for work anyway.
