Cub Scout Field Trip #2

For our second Cub Scout field trip, we went on a hike in the Grand Forest.  It was pouring down rain, but you know the Cub Scout motto:  "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."  Oh, wait, that's the Post Office motto.  The Cub Scout motto is "Do your best!"  But anyway, a little rain isn't going to stop our intrepid Bears.  Actually, only two of the four showed up. One was my son.  But still...I was determined this was going to be fun!

Two of Whitley's kids came along, and they enjoyed it, too.  All four kids ran along the trails, stomped in puddles, hid in trees, and slogged through the mud. They would barely stay still long enough for me to take pictures. True Northwesterners!  Next month, a visit to the Police Station...
