Golidlocks

Jillian came home from school yesterday and told me she had to curl her hair for tomorrow.  She and a friend were playing "The Quiet Game" and the looser had to straighten her hair if it was curly or curl her hair if it was straight.  Sounds like fifth grade girls to me!  She admitted that she lost on purpose because she wanted to try curling her hair.

So before bed last night, we tried rag curls.  My mom did this to my hair once when I was in a 6th grade play, so I knew it was possible, but I had never done it to someone else's hair before.  Can you tell which side I started with? 

She was apprehensive about it working and about being able to sleep.  At 7:00 this morning we unwrapped it.

The side I finished with definitely turned out better than the side I started with.  I learned that smaller pieces of hair curl much better.  She was so excited that it worked!
