For mid-winter break (a first for us, it comes six weeks after winter break and five weeks before spring break...being in school for more than six weeks at a time is unheard of these days...oh, I lied, I just checked the school calendar and they go for seven whole weeks after spring break before they get a day off on Memorial Day! How will they ever survive??? They get out early every Monday, so stop feeling sorry for them!) Kylie and Jillian were invited on a road trip to Rexburg, Idaho to visit Nathan. Mackenzie's mom and two sisters, who are Kylie's and Jillian's ages, were driving out there to see Mackenzie and invited them to come along. They left Wednesday morning and drove straight through, 14 hours! They stayed in Rexburg (in Mackenzie's dorm room one night, at Mackenzies' relatives for a few nights, and a hotel one night) until Sunday morning, then drove straight through Sunday, returning home at 11:00 last night. We talked to them every day to hear what they were doing and how they were liking it. Basically, they "hung out" with Nathan, Mackenzie and their friends, went to two movies, went bowling twice, ate out a few times, got to shovel some snow and sit in a hot tub, went to church in a student ward, and said they had a great time.

From looking at the pictures, I would agree that they really enjoyed their time in Rexburg with Nate! I love the pictures of my three kids laughing together!
