The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!

Our ward Christmas party this year was an Elf Training for the Primary kids put on by the Young Men and Young Women.  They did a fabulous job!
Even Ben, who is way too quickly losing his childhood innocence, enjoyed it.

Our YM president was perfect as the head elf.  I think he's found a new calling in life! He welcomed the kids and explained the evening.  They each received a "passport" and were guided to the different training locations.

Each room was decorated and had an activity related to Elf training, such as Christmas Bingo, which Kylie was in charge of.

And cookie decorating with Jingle Bells Jillian.

More of the cookie crew:  Aubrey, Shirley, and Jillian.
They also learned about snowman building (marshmallow snowmen), Christmas tree decorating (construction paper trees), snow ball throwing (wiffle balls thrown through a snowman cut-out), Elf games,  and made Elf ID cards.

Isn't his costume great?!

While the kids were being tutored in the fine arts of Elf-craft, the adults enjoyed hors d'ouevres  and socializing.

What Elf Training is complete without a visit to the biggest elf of them all?  I love the look on Ben's face,"I'm on to you, big guy!"  He said he was going to ask Santa his middle name so he could figure out who he really was, but once Santa said, "Hi, Ben!" he knew right away.

The hardworking Elf trainers got a chance to eat and visit, too.

Three of the cutest elves!
