This Guy has the Right Idea!
We spent the day at the Woodland Park Zoo with three of my four siblings and all the cousins, plus Elizabeth's sister and her baby. Fun times! It was a little crazy at moments, but the kids were real troopers and we got to see all the animals (well, the ones that were cooperating at least). And in the car on the way home, I felt like I was IN a Zoo, so we kept the spirit of the outing going!

Woodland Park Zoo is one of our favorites...of course next to SanDiego....looks like fun! I can just picture the car ride home.
ReplyDeleteOur kids were sooo ready to go back...they get out the 2nd week in May so it was time! I know we have kids in high school but there is NO way we are old! I still think I'm 25 until I look in the mirror...haha. Some days they grow up too fast and others not fast enough...I'm just trying to enjoy them as much as I can...Jocelynn said yesterday, "guess what u think that was hard, just wait 4 more years and youll be packing me off to college" Seriously...one day at a time! Hope your doing well...say hi to your fam for us! One of these days we'll make it up there.
Anyone who asked me how my day was today, I just said it was a ZOO literally. But hey it was fun! I'm glad we all got together and took the kids out to see the animals. I was a little disappointed to not see all Jill's prize photos she was taking. She's going to have to take some one-on-one lessons with Ty or Rach if they ever come out to visit again.
